Hair enthusiasts in West Hollywood were in for a treat on Monday, June 17th, as luxury haircare brand SH-RD collaborated with the masterful stylists at Ken Paves Salon for a unique event in a city well-known for unique events. Highlighted by an afternoon of glamorous blowouts by Ken Paves stylists, the afternoon soiree was attended by a number of leading lifestyle influencers in the area, such as London Ellis, Luna Montana, Diana Madison, Nazy Farnoosh and Suzy Shattuck.
In addition to treatments and stylings featuring the SH-RD line of products, as well as a series of before and after photoshoots, event patrons were invited to spend time enjoying the beautiful garden courtyard behind the salon. While blowouts were being made available to guests, sushi rolls and edamame were provided courtesy of Sushi Fire, as well as assorted meat and cheese platters from Barsha Wines & Spirits. Partygoers were also invited to try “hard” boba drinks resembling White Russians and Sweet Tea Whiskeys, courtesy of Labobatory. Music for the event was provided by DJ Haute (@heatherbetts). Showcased throughout was the unique line of Rosemary-based revitalizing hair products from SH-RD, which guests were able to sample throughout the afternoon.
Originating in Taiwan, the SH-RD brand specializes in strengthening and nourishing dry and damaged hair, returning it to its proper glory. Event attendees were able to experience firsthand how products like SH-RD’s Protein Cream are able to leave hair feeling silky and refreshed without leaving it oily or sticky. Salon owner Ken Paves and SH-RD founder Artemis Tsai were both on-hand to enjoy the festivities and make their wealth of hair knowledge available to interested guests. Gift bags of free SH-RD product and other prizes were made available to patrons upon departure.
