Just within a few days of the New Year, 2025 started with award season, with the Golden Globes introducing us to the glamorous and chic looks of celebs who celebrate their winnings, nominations, and overall contributions to the trade! Some of the makeup and beautiful outfits tailored to these stars have people talking, and what a way to start a new year by getting some new ideas on how to look and feel your best in 2025!
Demi Moore – Winner for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy)
Though Demi Moore has been an astounding actress in films like Ghost (1990), A Few Good Men (1992), and Disclosure (1994), she has reached a resurgence in the latest thriller The Substance (2024). Moore embraced the metallics and golden shimmer reflected in her award itself, wearing a crystal-embellished custom Armani Privé gown. Her stylist was Brad Goreski, makeup was done by Rokael Lizama, and her hair team was composed of Opus Beauty and Dimitris Giannetos.
Zendaya – Nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy)
Zendaya, one of the stars in the nominated film Challengers (2024), embodied old Hollywood in her custom burnt orange Louis Vuitton dress accompanied by a beautiful diamond necklace, and debuted her new engagement ring to Tom Holland. Her hairstylist, Coree Moreno, describes how Zendaya’s curly bob was possible, telling ELLE the products and process used to achieve the softly tousled, yet curly pinned perfect hair.
Eddie Redmayne – Nominated for Best Actor in a TV Drama
Nominated for his role in the Peacock original, Day of the Jackal, Redmayne sporting a black and white checkered suit by Valentino, Redmayne made everyone quite entranced on the carpet.
Janelle James – Nominated for Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy)
Janelle James was in a custom Christian Siriano black velvet dress on the carpet, for her role in the ABC show Abbott Elementary. With Neil Lane jewelry, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and shoes by Christian Louboutin, James took part in the Audrey Hepburn-inspired old Hollywood style.
Pamela Anderson- Nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama)
For her role that hit close to home in The Last Showgirl, Anderson wore a no-makeup look on the carpet, captivating many with her natural glow, a stark difference from her younger days with lip liner and eye shadow. Her character, Shelly is a seasoned showgirl forced to find her next act after the Las Vegas revue she’s headlined for decades announces its final show.
