We sat down with the CEO and founder, Sarah Boyd to get an idea of how much she dabbles in beauty, and how beauty influencers could benefit from SIMPLY. Sarah Boyd of SIMPLY on Beauty Dabble:
Who have been SIMPLY LA’s biggest beauty speakers/panelists?
SB: So many incredible speakers! Some of the biggest names include Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Graham and Vanessa Hudgens
What would you say a beauty youtuber has learned from the conference?
SB: We have a lot of youtubers on panels discussing their path to success. Since Youtubing is a job there really is no formal training for, it’s best to learn directly from those that have made it and why a conference like SIMPLY is so important to attend.
If you had to collaborate with one beauty youtuber who would it be?
SB: Me?! I’m by no means a beauty expert, but I do love Bethany Mota’s content. And she spoke at a past event and is such a doll!
What is in your purse that is a beauty essential?
SB: Right now I’m loving my Bobbie Brown lipstick by Sazan. It’s the perfect nude with a touch of color
5. What salon do you use in LA? NYC?
SB: I bounce around in LA but I love the vibe at Spoke & Weal!
What is one of the best beauty inventions?
SB: I love my Clarisonic! Such a great invention.
What is your beauty must have product?
SB: Foundation is definitely one thing I can’t leave the house without.
What is your skin care regimen?
SB: When I’m not exhausted, I like to do a full skincare routine starting with a good cleanse, undereye cream, nighttime cream (loving Summer Fridays) and sealed with a toner. In the morning I just do a splash of warm water to waken up my skin.
What do you think beauty bloggers can gain from SIMPLY LA?
SB: SO much! We have close to 50 speakers so countless pointers and tips about the industry plus many networking opportunities with other attendees as well as the speakers and brands onsite.
