For July and August, the hair-care brand Joico has debuted the collection Colorful, designed to “provide shine, strength, and protection from color-fading elements.” The collection consists of three individual products: the Colorful Anti-Fade Shampoo, the Colorful Anti-Fade Conditioner, and the Colorful Glow Beyond Anti-Fade Serum. All three are meant to be hydrating and color-boosting without depending on nasty chemicals.

Their secret? Camellia Oil and Pomegranate Fruit Extract are the hero ingredients of this collection, all natural ingredients that mean business when it comes to treating fade and preserving color. What these ingredients have to offer are a ton of antioxidants, which helps seal in moisture and protects color from outside elements. In addition, Camellia Oil boasts Omega 9 fatty acids for hydration and shine, and Pomegranate Fruit Extract contains tannins to help keep color bright.
The collection also features the brand’s Smart Release system, which hit the scene with their Defy Damage line, that delivers lipsome continually to hair. The system uses Keratin, Arginine, and Rosehip Oil to help repair hair and keep it shiny, particularly after all that styling we do.
